About Me

When I was a little girl growing up near Manchester, England, my Mum now reminds me that I often enquired "Mum, do I look Mediterranean?". I wanted to be the wavy, raven haired, bronze limbed, Diet Coke girl wearing the red polka-dot dress being swung around on a sun baked terrace. 


Fast forward 20 years and I'm living my dream - residing on the lovely Med island of Cyprus. There's nobody swinging me around on it, but I sure have that sun-soaked terrace, and a rummage in my wardrobe would reveal a polka-dotted dress or two. 


Having enjoyed a career as a freelance writer and fashion stylist for 15 years, working with reputable publications and celebrities in the UK and Cyprus (The Big Issue - music and features, MM Magazine -fashion & beauty, VIP Cyprus Magazine - fashion, beauty & food reviews, InTouch -fashion, to name but a few), I'm hoping to consolidate some of my work here sharing my musings on fashion, beauty, restaurants, travel and lifestyle.
